U-profile glass is a type of cast glass. It’s forming process in a computer-controlled melting furnace maintains high quality and dimensional accuracy. Its high mechanical strength allows it to be installed in high-rise buildings and other buildings requiring good daylighting, without additional vertical or horizontal supports. U-profile glass provides good daylighting, thermal insulation, sound insulation and noise reduction. It’s a new type of environmentally friendly, economical glass.

Temperingtempering & heat soak testing

laber developed equipment for U-shaped glass tempering up to 20' in length, and built dedicated three-dimensional glass oven equipment for heat-soak treatment. This equipment enables tempered glass output to undergo heat-soak treatment promptly.

Tempered LABER U-shaped glass undergoes a second heat treatment in a tempering furnace, bringing its surface stress to 10,000 PSI or higher. Tempered U-shaped glass compared with ordinary U-shaped glass has a strength increase of 3 to 4倍以上，由于它破碎后碎片小。碎片边缘没有锋利的棱角，大大降低了伤害到人的可能性。

The product has both functional and decorative uses. It comes in many colors and patterns, including stripes, grids, and lightning-like patterns. Patterns can also be designed for individual customer requirements.
