What is the installation process for frosted U-shaped glass?
A chemical process for producing U-shaped frosted glass. The process is:
(1)Cleaning and drying: wash the flat glass intended for frosted U-shaped glass production with water to remove dust and stains, then dry it;
(2) Lifting: place the cleaned, dried flat glass vertically in the lifting rack. Use toothed rubber supports wherever the rack contacts the glass. Leave space between the sheets and lift the rack with a crane.
(3)Etching: use a crane to immerse the flat glass and its lifting rack in the etching tank. Keep the glass immersed in the conventional etching solution for 5-10 minutes, then lift it out and allow the residual solution to drain.
(4)Softening: after the residual liquid has drained away, a layer of residue remains on the U-shaped frosted glass, which is softened in the softening box. The glass is immersed in the conventional softening solution, and the softening time is 1-2 minutes to remove the residue
(5)Cleaning: etching and softening leave chemicals on the frosted U-shaped glass, so it must be cleaned. Place it on the washing machine conveyor, which carries it through the machine while water is sprayed and brushes rotate. When the glass leaves the machine, cleaning of the U-shaped frosted glass is finished
(6)The cleaned U-shaped frosted glass is placed in a drying room to dry, producing U-shaped glass frosted on one or both sides.
The rough surface of frosted U-shaped glass diffuses transmitted light while obscuring the view. Because the surface is not smooth, light is scattered, so the image seen through it is indistinct. This also makes indoor light softer and less harsh.
